Cornerstone is a Bible-teaching southern baptist church in the fast growing community of Hutto, Texas. It is made up of people just like you - people who need a personal relationship with God. We gather in worship to sense his presence, hear his word, and experience his love.
We are a young church, building our first facility, trying to grow in knowledge and likeness of Jesus.
This purpose of this local body of believers is:
1. To exault the Savior in dynamic unity of fellowship through powerful Bible preaching, joyful and celebrative worship of God, extraordinary praying, effective organization of the body, and consistent living under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
2. To equip the saints through preaching, teaching, and training believers to utilize their gifts and skills in ministry to each other and to the people of this community and to the entire world.
3. To evangelize as many people as possible in our areas of influence to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ by teaching, baptizing, and disciplining them.
4. To encourage our members to support local, national, and world-wide ministries through personal stewardship.
